Still works as of patch eight.0, in BFA. I made a macro that'due south just "/craven"

Mashed the hell out of the button, and eventually worked. Must exist washed on a non-battle pet chicken. Target a normal, critter craven, and spam the crap out of that macro. Somewhen, it'll turn friendly, and only gotta complete the quest, and pick up the egg information technology leaves behind.

I had the most frustrating time trying to get this "subconscious" pet.  It either disappeared earlier I could buy the feed, or after I fed it, information technology said the quest was complete with a ? I couldn't notice.  A couple of times after I fed the chicken it turned into an ordinary battlepet chicken.  My sig other finally did it for me and I saw the play a joke on was later yous fed the chicken to right click on it to obtain the egg that is the battle pet.  Duh.  RIGHT CLICK!!!  It all has to be done actually fast or the opportunity goes away.

Spamming /chicken over and over... other than being called a moron the simply thing that has happened is that 2 chickens accept turned into boxing pets,.. is that normal?

I recently reached the grand boxing pets limit, so I started deciding which ones I should put in cages or release so I could make more than room for new pets to add to my army. Manifestly Blizzard fixed the problem with the Westfall Chicken, because it wasn't long ago that you could not release this pet. At that fourth dimension you could have 3, but y'all were stuck with whatsoever random breed yous rolled. The good news is that as of October 2022, you tin can now release this pet.

The big downside of this pet is that it comes in four different breeds and you can't release any of them. As such, it makes those of usa hardcore pet collectors try to pursue the best one (which I would presume would be S/B seeing as how information technology is a flyer), but hopefully you don't have bad enough luck to get three B/B chickens. I'm stuck with two B/B chickens but at least on the third try I got a P/B. Still would be nice to have a South/B one. :(

Confirmed that this is not just still working, but it's possible to pick up all three of your immune chickens with a single human action of idiocy!  :)

Did this with my 37 Undead rogue;  bought three of the special feed from William Saldean in Brill, found the ONE chicken in the graveyard, macro-chicken'd it for about x minutes, and repeatedly accustomed/completed the quest until I ran out of feed.  Grabbed all three eggs from the ground and voila!  Westfall Craven.

Can confirm this is still bachelor. Got mine last night. Apr 21st 2022 Made the /chicken macro. Trick was to target a chicken critter. Just continuing near it without targeting information technology didn't piece of work. Also has to be a critter, non one of the battle-able critters. Plant the chickens at the farm Solliden Farmstead w of Brill close to the coast.

I'one thousand pretty certain that it only comes in as an uncommon quality. You lot'll need a stone to upgrade the pet to rare quality.

Is this still obtainable?  I merely spent ii hours with the special food in my bags spaming  /chicken and zip.  Any Info would exist helpful.  I even tried /cheer occasionally and did the whole thing on several different chickens around westfall.

Ok, then the pet itself is not-tradable, correct? Still, I found out quite by blow that if yous are grouped with another player, the other player can pick up the egg after the chicken lays it.  Tried this with my friend the other day.  I did the clucking and feeding and when it layed the egg, he was able to use the gear on information technology. This has prob been posted before, but idea it might exist useful as a reminder. :)

But did this quest 3 times. lol Collection my husband crazy...not to metion felt real giddy if other characters went by. According to my addon I got ii B/B and one Due south/B. Can anyone ostend that these are the merely breeds bachelor for these guys? If so, then I'm proficient, merely if there'southward another stat combo available, I'd kinda like to meet if I can get information technology! I kept i B/B and the S/B for the time being. Not using whatever stones just yet until I confirm breed options. Thanks! :)

You've got to /flap at chicken critters, not the wild battlepet chickens.  That had me going for a while -_-  Also, make a macro /flap to save time.

Wow, does this quest make yous feel like an idiot or what :)

Tried information technology on "the" chicken in the Brill graveyard to no avail, so went southward to Westfall and nailed it almost first fourth dimension of asking. It works...provided you don't mind looking like a complete fool for a few minutes.

I tin can tell you from my perspective this does not work at all. I bought the special craven feed, tried doing this with all my chickens, got rid of one rare merely to grab a fresh ane nearby and tried it with it. This isn't doing squat. I take tired out my paw clicking that stupid macro. Human mage, lvl seventy was doing the dirty piece of work. I have to wonder if merely races or roles can exercise it or if MoP 5.ane has fabricated information technology unworkable. Hand is tired, I'm letting this residue.
